Disclosed is a data transmission method based on uplink multiplexing. The method comprises: detecting whether an uplink transmission channel is occupied (S102); when it is detected that the uplink transmission channel is not occupied, generating preset occupation data (S104); acquiring an uploading timeslot allocated by a base station, and before a first uploading timeslot arrives after it is detected that the uplink transmission channel is not occupied, sending the occupation data through the uplink transmission channel (S106); and when the first uploading timeslot arrives after it is detected that the uplink transmission channel is not occupied, performing service data transmission through the uplink transmission channel (S108). Also disclosed is a data transmission apparatus based on uplink multiplexing. By using the data transmission method and apparatus based on uplink multiplexing in the present invention, the resource utilization rate of channel resources can be improved.
