A food blender (10) includes a blender base (30) including a housing (31) defining therein a connecting seat (311), a connector (33) mounted in the housing (31), a plurality of sensing elements (37) mounted in the housing (31) near the connecting seat (311) and a driving device (39) fixedly mounted in the housing (31) and coupled with the connector (33) and the sensing elements (37), and a food container (50) detachably mountable in the connecting seat (311) of the housing (31) and having a stirrer (53) and a plurality of magnetic members (55) mounted in a container body (51) thereof. The driving device (39) controls the operation of the stirrer (53) according to the number of the magnetic members (55) actually detected by the sensing elements (37). |
