The exchanger (5) has a cladding enclosing a pipe to form an annular duct. A primary inlet (35) and a primary outlet (36) are fluidically connected to a prominent primary path and a prominent bypass path that are placed above primary media by the annular duct and the pipe. A control device controls a flow of the primary path and the bypass path with the primary media. A secondary inlet and a secondary outlet are fluidically connected above two secondary paths for feeding secondary media. Heat-transmitting media is separately coupled with the primary path and the secondary paths. An independent claim is also included for a device for supplying fresh air to combustion chambers of a combustion engine.
