The invention relates to a headrest (1) comprising: two lateral metal mounting rods (2), one of said rods being provided at its top end with a locking plate (3); a headrest cushion; a support structure (4) for said cushion, said rods being mounted so as to rotate about a transverse axis (5) on said structure, said structure being provided with the following components: a lock (6) mounted so as to slide vertically so as to be able to be placed in a locking configuration in which it engages with said plate in order to immobilize said structure in the use position; a lever (7) for actuating said lock so as to unlock, said lever being mounted so as to pivot about a longitudinal axis (10) in order to bear against said lock; a strip (11), mounted so as to slide transversely, for actuating said lever so as to unlock; an unlocking button (14) that is activated by pressure and mounted so as to slide transversely; a first spring means (15) for actuating said lever so as to bear against said strip; a second spring means (16) for actuating said screw into its locking configuration. |
