The present specification discloses a display apparatus on which a GUI is displayed through statistical processing of usage patterns and a control method therefor. The display apparatus according to the present specification may comprise: an output unit for displaying a screen containing a toolbar; a sensing unit for sensing a user input on the screen; and a control unit for controlling the output unit so as to display a screen corresponding to the user input received by the sensing unit, wherein the toolbar includes a plurality of input windows, and the control unit analyzes the numbers, frequencies, and cycles of inputs into the input windows and performs control so as to display an input window having high usage frequency among the input windows at a position corresponding to the eye level of a user according to a predetermined criterion. |
