The present invention addresses the problem of providing an axle drive-type tilling apparatus with which tilling efficiency can be improved. A pair of tilling claws 7 comprise a first-row tilling claw (A1R, A2R), a second-row tilling claw (B1L, B2R), a third-row tilling claw (C1L, C2R) and a fourth-row tilling claw (D1L, D2L) arranged in this order in four rows from the outside to the inside of the machine, the tilling claws being disposed 45° out of phase relative to one another in a side view. The first-row tilling claws (A1R, A2R) are supported by a first support member 21 so as to face outward. The second-row tilling claws (B1L, B2R) are supported by the first support member 21 and a second support member 22, respectively, so that the tilling claw (B1L) faces inward and the tilling claw (B2R) faces outward. The tilling claw (C1L) of the third-row tilling claws (C1L, C2R) is supported by the second support member 22 to face inward and the tilling claw (C2R) is supported by a third support member 23 so as to face outward. Both the fourth-row tilling claws (D1L, D2L) are supported by the third support member 23 so as to face inward. |
