[Class 120 (ii)] [Also in Group XXIV] In means for reciprocating the thread guide funnels of centrifugal machines for spinning artificial silk, in which cam discs are angularly adjustable for varying the stroke, the rollers or guide blocks 3 engaging the cam groove 1 are coupled to the guide frame 5 by a simple hinge joint, which, as shown, comprises a journal 6 fixed in a bevelled square-piece 4 carried by the frame. In a modification, for use when considerable adjust ment is desired, the square-piece 4 is loosely mounted on a bolt 9, Fig. 4, carrying the block 3 loosely on pins 10. |
