A mapping image display control device, method and program are provided which can accurately simulate the position on the lung surface where a dye injected into the peripheral bronchi seeps out, and which can generate and display a mapping image mapping said position. This mapping image control device is provided with: a lung region extraction unit 11 which extracts a lung region included in a three-dimensional image; a bronchial region extraction unit 12 which extracts the bronchial region contained in the lung region; a branching position information acquisition unit 13 which acquires information about a branching position in the bronchial region; a reach position information estimation unit 14 which, on the basis of the information about branching position, estimates reach position information that indicates where the extension line of the branching included in the bronchial region reaches the surface of the lung region; and a display control unit 15 which generates a mapping image which maps the reach position information onto the surface of the lung region and displays said mapping image on a display device 3. |
