[Class 132 (ii).] Apparatus for use in practising a golf club swing comprises a comparatively resilient baseboard 2 carrying a plurality of deflectable targets 3, 4, 6 arranged in the path 16, 16 traversed by the club head, the target 4 corresponding to the position of the ball. The targets comprise # shaped rubber pieces, Fig. 4, the stems 8 thereof, which are adapted to be inserted through slots 9 in the board 2, being preferably connected by ball-and-socket joints 10 to the bases 7. To cater for players of varying physique, the target 3 may be accommodated in any one of the arcuatele disposed slots 9 which may alternatively by disposed in a straight line transverse to the board, and targets 4, 6 in either of two longitudinally adjacently disposed slots 11, 12 respectively. Target 6 may bear audible means such as bells to indicate when it has been struck. |
