PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to continuously measure potential under a relatively high pressure and a flow condition and to perform corrosion potential monitoring that correctly reproduces actual corrosion generating environment.SOLUTION: A reference electrode 1 is used for monitoring corrosion potential of piping forming the circulation flow path of environmental water. The reference electrode 1 includes: an electrode lead-out section 2 for leading out a lead wire 21 from one end of a metal electrode 20; a salt bridge section 3 in which an electrolyte solution 5, in which the metal electrode 20 is immersed, is filled; a liquid junction section 4 for liquid-joining the electrolyte solution 5 with environmental water flowing in the piping; and a bubble removal pipe 6 whose one end is disposed adjacently to the liquid junction section 4 in the salt bridge section 3 and whose other end is led out to the outside of the salt bridge section 3. |
