A vehicle seat is provided. The vehicle seat comprises: a seat frame supporting load of a person seating on the seat; a seat pad disposed on the seat frame and receiving the load to be relieved of the person; and pad supporting metal wires bridged in the seat frame and supporting a part of the seat pad from the back side of the seat pad. The pad supporting metal wires comprise transverse metal wires bridged in the seat frame along the width direction of the seat. The seat pad is provided with a hard layer with a rigidity higher than that of the seat pad on the back side of the seat pad and is configured in a manner that: the supporting force of the pad supporting metal wires distributed along the in-surface direction is received by the hard layer. A support, which enhances the supporting rigidity of the seat pad by a supporting rigidity weaker than the supporting rigidity of the transverse metal wires, is arranged at a part of the seat frame, wherein the part of body stress of the person lower than the body stress on the transverse metal wires is applied to the part of the seat frame. |
