The present invention relates to a stator for an electrical machine, which stator has an encapsulation and extends concentrically about an axis, wherein the encapsulation at least partially forms an outer surface of the stator on a side of the stator which is averted from the axis, and wherein the encapsulation has a first fitting surface, for arranging a floating bearing, on a side of the stator which faces the axis. The present invention further relates to an electrical machine comprising a stator of this kind, and also to an adjustment drive comprising an electrical machine of this kind.
