The cigarette filter case (1) has a filter cigarette paper sleeve (13) comprising a filter piece (9) on the left side and a supporting filter plug (11) on the right side. The filter piece is surrounded with a filter tipping paper (5). A supporting filter element is surrounded with a paper (7) such that axial length of paper is greater than that of supporting filter piece. An independent claim is included for method for manufacturing cigarette filter case.
