In order to control a plurality of space evolution type computers by means of a single time evolution type computer, it is necessary to control each space evolution type computer individually in a manner that matches the operation of that space evolution type computer. One aspect of the present invention, which solves this problem, is a system provided with: a first computer (time evolution type computer), control modules controlled by the first computer, and second computers (space evolution type computers), each of which is configured to be associated with a respective one of the control modules. Each second computer is provided with a plurality of units, each of which is provided with: a first memory for storing values each indicating the state of a node; a second memory for storing coefficients; and a calculation circuit. The calculation circuit of each unit performs a calculation process for determining values indicating the states of the nodes of the unit on the basis of the coefficients of the unit and values indicating the states of nodes of other units, and further for storing each determined value in the first memory of the unit. Each control module supplies a control signal for controlling a calculation process to a respective one of the second computers. |
