TRANSFERRING NOTIFICATIONS BETWEEN DEVICES

A system and method is disclosed for transferring notifications between multiple computing devices. A notification is provided for display at a first computing device associated with a user account. An indication is received of a user gesture for moving the notification to a second computing device associated with the user account, the second computing device being remote from the first computing device. In response to the indication, the notification is provided to the second computing device for display at the second computing device and removed from the first computing device so that the notification is no longer displayed at the first computing device.

1. A computer-implemented method, comprising:
providing for display a notification at a first computing device associated with a user account; receiving an indication of a user gesture for moving the notification to a second computing device associated with the user account, the second computing device being remote from the first computing device; and in response to the indication of the user gesture and without user interaction, providing the notification to the second computing device for display at the second computing device and removing the notification from the first computing device so that the notification is no longer displayed at the first computing device.
