PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a recording material capable of reducing the volume of water introduced from an external environment so as to be used at a step of manufacturing a recording material using a color development agent consisting of water and of reducing the volume of an effluent related to the manufacture thereof into the external environment.SOLUTION: At least either of a filtered solution or washing solution used for washing a toner generated as an effluent at a step of manufacturing the toner as a recording material and an effluent generated during an operation for washing a toner manufacturing facility is recovered and delivered to an impurity removal step of removing impurities included within the recovered effluent other than water, and the water obtained at this impurity removal step is used as the water supply of a color development agent used at a granulating step of dispersing a coloring agent with the color development agent. |
