PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a display delay time from the generation of a display image signal to the output of the signal to a display unit while processing an input image signal.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: a first signal processing unit 100A for processing the image signal of an odd-numbered frame to be output from an imaging sensor 101; and a second signal processing unit 100B for processing the image signal of an even-numbered frame. A DRAM 112B stores the image signal processed by the second signal processing unit 100B and transfers the signal to a DRAM 112A. The DRAM 112A stores the image signal processed by the first signal processing unit 100A and the image signal to be transferred from the DRAM 112B. An external output unit 115 reads the image signal from the DRAM 112A and outputs the signal to the outside of the apparatus. A resize processing unit 124 performs image reduction processing for panel displaying with respect to an input image signal. A panel signal processing unit 118 performs color adjustment and resolution adjustment, etc. to meet a display panel 127. A panel output unit 121 performs display signal output processing and outputs a display signal to the display panel. |
