The device (1) has a material layer (6) placed on a portion of a surface of a core element (5) and arranged under a recess, where the device is made of high-duty plastic material i.e. glass-fiber reinforced plastic material. The core element is made of another high-duty plastic material i.e. polyoxymethylene. The core element passes from a shaft bearing housing (3) into a crimping pin (2). A bearing shell is injected into a shaft bearing (4) of the core element. A skeleton-like scaffold channel structure is formed in a region of the crimping pin. The crimping pin is fastened to a support tube. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a windscreen wiping device. |
