A method for collecting and distributing copyright royalty for digital music and a charging system. The method comprises: recording a music number and the copyright ownership matching the number (S101); collecting a copyright royalty from a user or deducting from the balance of an account of the user on the basis of a state of downloading by the user (S102); and wire transferring the relevant copyright royalty to an account of a copyright holder on the basis of the music number corresponding to the music downloaded by the user and the copyright ownership matching the number (S103). The method takes into consideration both copyright protection and convenience for the user in downloading music, allows the user to download conveniently on a same platform or portal various music of which the copyrights belong to different companies. |
