An umbrella having a lighting function, and a usage method thereof, the umbrella comprising an umbrella rod (11) and umbrella ribs (12) arranged on the umbrella rod (11), an umbrella canopy (13) being arranged on the umbrella ribs (12), a handle (14) being connected to the end of the umbrella rod (11), a lighting component (15) being arranged in the handle (14); the lighting component (15) comprises a battery (151), a circuit board (152), and an LED lamp (153), the battery (151) and the LED lamp (153) respectively being arranged at the two ends of the circuit board (152), a switching switch (154) also being arranged on the circuit board (152), a light diffusing lens (155) being arranged in front of the LED lamp (153), and a fixing ring and a charging port (156) being correspondingly arranged on the handle (14). The steps of the usage method are: pushing the umbrella ribs to spread open the umbrella canopy; pressing the switch to light up the LED lamp; and, on the basis of the conditions of the usage environment, switching the brightness of the LED lamp by pressing the switching switch once or pressing twice in succession. The present umbrella not only blocks rain, but also provides a lighting function; the usage method is simple, and the functions are varied. |
