PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production process for xylose which is friendly to the environment and very economical due to the simplicity of the process.SOLUTION: A production process for xylose includes a) a step of carrying out counterflow extraction of tropical fruit biomass through a sulfuric acid hydrolysis reaction, b) a step of adjusting the pH of the extract to 1.5-2.5 and carrying out decoloration and filtration, c) a step of charging the filtrate into an electrodialyzer to desalinate, d) a step of recirculating the sulfuric acid waste liquid recovered in the step c) to the step a), concentrating the desalinated organic material and recovering directly to obtain a crystal of xylose. |
