[Class 44.] Bed-clothes are clipped to the mattress by a clip of the form shown, the gripping limbs 16, 17 (which have an inward set as shown in full lines) taking up the approximately parallel position, shown dotted, when in use. Rounded projections 18 may be provided on one or both limbs to improve the grip, and the ends of the limbs may be curved outwards to facilitate application and avoid tearing the clothes. The clip may be formed of metal strip, openwork metal, wire or other material.</p> |
