PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optic device, electronic equipment and a method for driving an electro-optic device, in which display unevenness can be suppressed even when a small-size pixel is driven at a high drive voltage.SOLUTION: An electro-optic device 10 includes a scanning line 22, a data line 24, and a pixel circuit 110 disposed corresponding to an intersection between the scanning line 22 and the data line 24. The pixel circuit 110 includes transistors 121, 122, 123 and a light-emitting element 130 the cathode of which is connected to a common electrode 29 where a ground voltage Vss is supplied and the anode of which receives a current corresponding to a gate-source voltage of the transistor 121. A gate of at least one of the transistors 122 and 123 is controlled by a gate signal that has an amplitude between a voltage Vel and a low-level voltage higher than the ground voltage Vss. The low-level voltage is equal to or lower than a voltage determined by subtracting an absolute value of a threshold voltage of the transistor 122 from a holding voltage of a holding capacitance 132. |
