PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately inspect a seismoscope that may output an abnormal signal depending on a use environment even when the seismoscope is determined to be normal in a conventional inspection method.SOLUTION: A method for inspecting a seismoscope 50 uses, as a rate of reference temperature change, a rate of the recommended value of a temperature change specified by a constant speed temperature change test in a specification number C60068-2-14 of Japanese Industrial Standard. The method comprises: a temperature change step for changing environmental temperature at a smaller rate of an inspection temperature change than that of a reference temperature change from an inspection initiation temperature, which is a temperature less than the lowest temperature of the temperature cycle of a day, to an inspection finishing temperature, which is a temperature higher than the highest temperature of the temperature cycle of a day; and an output determination step for determining whether or not an abnormal signal is output from the seismoscope in the temperature change step. |
