PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve timing adjusting device capable of inhibiting leakage of working fluid passing through between a vane rotor and a housing.SOLUTION: A housing 20 has a cylinder part 21, plate parts 22 and 23, and a storage chamber 50. A vane rotor 30 has a boss part 31, and vanes 32, 33, 34 and 35 partitioning the storage chamber 50 into retard chambers 51, 52, 53 and 54 and advance chambers 55, 56, 57 and 58, and is driven to be relatively rotated to a retard direction or an advance direction with respect to the housing 20 only in a specified angle range. A seal plate 40 is formed in a plate shape, is disposed between the vane rotor 30 and the plate part 23, and has protruded elastic parts 42, 43, 44 and 45 which are abutted to an end surface of the vane rotor 30 so as to be elastically deformed in a range corresponding to the specified angle range, and forms a pressure chamber 46 between the elastic parts 42, 43, 44 and 45 and the plate part 23. A supply flow passage 103 for supplying working fluid to the pressure chamber 46 is formed on the plate part 23. |
