PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an exposure device capable of effectively collecting foreign matter that is scraped by a cleaning member, which moves while coming into contact with a transmission member, and to provide an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: When a user pushes a cleaning part 106 to an inner side of a device body 10A, the foreign matter that is scraped to an edge side of the cleaning part 106 drops to a collection part 82 to be collected in the collection part 82. Thereafter, a wiping part 112 rubs with a projecting and recessed part 80, and foreign matter that adheres to the wiping part 112 and is not collected by the collection part 82 is peeled from the wiping part 112 and collected by the projecting and recessed part 80. Before the cleaning part 106 passes through the projecting and recessed part 80, the foreign matter that is scraped to the edge side of the cleaning part 106 is collected in the collection part 82, thereby the foreign matter that is scraped by the moving cleaning member 100 is effectively collected. |
