PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PV panel diagnostic technology capable of accurately detecting a deteriorated panel in a photovoltaic power generation system.SOLUTION: A PV panel diagnostic device comprises: an impedance adjusting circuit 6 that is connected to a PCS 12 for applying MPPT control to a PV panel circuit including strings S where multiple PV panels 1 are connected in series; an impedance control part 110 that causes the impedance adjusting circuit 6 to perform an impedance variable operation for changing impedance of the strings S; a measured value storage part 311 that stores voltage or current which is measured in each PV panel circuit in response to the change in the impedance, as a measured value; and an identification part 222 that identifies a deteriorated PV panel 1 or the strings S including the deteriorated panel 1, by comparing the measured value corresponding to the change in the impedance or its change amount with a prescribed threshold. |
