Provided is a sound output device comprising the following: a speaker unit having a sound emission unit; attachment members for attaching the speaker unit to an object; separating members that are provided between the speaker unit and the attachment members and that cause the speaker unit to be separated from the attachment members; and sealing members that are provided between the speaker unit and the attachment members, and that reduce the sound emitted from the side opposite the sound emission unit of the speaker unit and transmitted to the sound emission unit side. The attachment members have a first portion on the sound emission unit side of the speaker unit, and the first portion has an opening corresponding to the sound emission unit.
