An inverter control device equipped with one or more inverter main circuits, one or more current detectors, a voltage detector 13 for detecting the DC voltage between DC bus bars, and an inverter control unit 15 for generating a PWM signal for controlling a plurality of semiconductor switching elements so as to turn each on and off by using the DC voltage and the direct current, wherein the inverter control unit 15 sets the PWM signal carrier period to 1/N times the operation period during which the PWM signal is generated, detects the direct current detected by the current detectors during the 1/2 operation period immediately before the operation start timing at which the operation for generating the PWM signal starts, computes an output voltage vector on the basis of the detected direct current, and causes the PWM signal generated by the output voltage vector to be reflected during one operation period starting after the operation start timing 1/2 operation period and lasting until after a 3/2 control operation period. |
