The present invention belongs to the field of home appliances; provided are a method and remote controller for alerting information when matching a user-set feature to a household electrical appliance, said method comprising: recording one or more user-set feature information, a controller code corresponding to each user-set feature, and a matching relationship between each user-set feature and said controller code; reading the user-set feature information inputted by the user; if the user-set feature information inputted by the user is the user-set feature matching the controller code, then according to the user-set feature information inputted by the user, retrieving the controller code matching the user-set feature inputted by the user, and pushing patent information to the user. In the invention, the user-set feature is matched with the controller code, such that the user is able to quickly switch among operation of different household electrical appliances, while the interests of the creator of the technology are fully protected at the same time. |
