PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem of a conventional air battery system that since air is supplied to an air battery while pressurizing, unionized gaseous oxygen enters the battery from the air electrode side to lower the discharge output.SOLUTION: An air cell system is constituted to include: a cell aggregation S where single cells 1 are arranged in multiple rows, and an air path Af for an air electrode 1A is formed between the single cells 1; a distribution case 2 for housing the cell aggregation S; a blower 33 arranged in a discharge section 2D of the distribution case 2 or on the downstream side thereof, and giving a negative pressure into the distribution case 2; and system control means 36 for controlling the blower. Discharge output is prevented from lowering by preventing the gaseous oxygen from entering the cell, and excellent discharge output is maintained even in a structure that is downsized by narrowing the air path Af. |
