A locking fastener-type male connector comprising a housing (7), a terminal component (4), and a plastic core (2). The terminal component comprises a plastic base (41) and multiple terminals (42) embedded in the plastic base. Both the front and rear extremities of the terminals extend out of the plastic base. Integrally stamped metal flexible-piece locking fasteners (1b and 1a) are arranged at either side of the plastic core. The metal flexible-piece locking fasteners are connected at one extremity thereof to the plastic core and extend out of the housing at the other extremity. Also, locking hooks (11) are arranged at the extremities of the metal flexible-piece locking fasteners extending out of the housing. The front extremities of the terminals comprise, sequentially connected from the front to the rear, arced front sections (421), flat middle sections (422) used for contacting terminals of a female connector, and arced rear sections (423). A bus cable (3) is fitted at the rear extremities of the terminals. An insertion pad (6) is arranged below the front extremity of the bus cable. The rear extremities of the terminals are arced and press tight against metal conductors in the bus cable and the insertion pad. The locking fastener-type male connector provides high communication quality and high product reliability. |
