This medical puncture needle comprises: a tip end part including a needle tip; and a rod-shaped main body part that is contiguous to the tip end part. The tip end part has a blade surface. The blade surface includes: a first blade surface part that is inclined with respect to the center axis of the main body part, and that extends up to the needle tip; and a second blade surface part that is formed on the back side of the first blade surface part. Assuming that there is a virtual plane including the center axis of the main body part, the second blade surface part is constituted by a curved surface, the angle of which with respect to the virtual plane in a cross section orthogonal to the center axis direction gradually increases toward the needle tip side along the center axis direction. |
