The present invention relates to a water purifier of a new structure capable of easily receiving a large amount of water in a large water container. The water purifier according to the present invention is configured such that, when a user inputs the amount of water to be received into a water container (5) by operating an input means (30) in a state in which the water container (5) is placed on a support (10), a control unit (40) receives a signal from an amount measuring means (20) and controls a drain valve (4) so that only the inputted amount of water is discharged through the drain valve (4) into the water container (5). Therefore, even if the user does not watch, the correct amount of water is supplied to the input means (30), so that it is unnecessary for the user to monitor whether the water is overflowing from the input means (30), and the user can do other work while filling the input means (30) with water, and thereby, it is very convenient to use. In particular, since the input means (30) can be placed on the support (10), there is no need for the user to hold the heavy input means (30), and thereby it is more convenient to use. |
