The present invention addresses the issue of providing a retransmission system that has a small transmission capacity and operates stably, by automatically sending old data and without requiring special retransmission requests or logic. In addition, the present invention addresses the issue of providing a retransmission system having a low communications load and little power consumption when retransmitting old data. The time shift retransmission system is characterized by: a system managing communications for a remote sensor connected to a communications line, including therein a) a temporary storage means that temporarily stores, at prescribed intervals, measurement values measured by the remote sensor in accordance with a sampling schedule and b) a retransmission means that resends the measurement values in accordance with a retransmission schedule having a plurality of different cycles; a delay time from said measurement to said retransmission differing in accordance with said cycles; and the delay time being set to a range within which the amount of data, for a measurement value group temporarily stored within the delay time, is within the storage capacity of the temporary storage means. |
