PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system including a CPU, configured to achieve power saving.SOLUTION: A power control apparatus 100 is configured to change power consumption mode between normal mode and power-saving mode. In at least one of initialization processing after the start of supplying power to a H/W device and termination processing before stopping power supply, until receiving a setting processing instruction to execute setting processing on the H/W device from a CPU 200, the power control apparatus 100 maintains the power-saving mode. After receiving the setting processing instruction, the power control apparatus 100 enters the normal mode, executes at least one of setting in the initialization processing of the H/W device and setting in the termination processing, in place of the CPU 200, and enters the power-saving mode when the setting processing is completed. |
