PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element in which a threshold value of light intensity in which anisotropic molecules are oriented is lowered, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: An optical element is prepared such that onto a light responsive composition 15 containing a light responsive substance 13 having a threshold value of light intensity to respond and anisotropic molecules, light having light intensity of a threshold value or more is irradiated, so that the light responsive composition is oriented. |
