PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press working method and a metal mold used for the press working method, capable of precision progressive feed work, by reducing scrap, while having a simple process.SOLUTION: The press working method executes working of including punching and compression while successively feeding a metal plate to a plurality of working stages in the metal mold, and includes a first punching process of projecting a punching blank material by roughly a plate thickness of the metal plate by using a die of a roundly chamfered shoulder part, a compression process of forming a recess-projection on a surface of the blank material by compressing the projected blank material in the plate thickness direction and a second punching process of completely punching the compressed blank material from the metal plate. |
