The present invention relates to the field of communications. Disclosed are a method for establishing a communication connection and an electronic device. The method comprises: sending a first connection request to a called electronic device; and if a second connection request sent from the called electronic device is received within a preset time, establishing a communication connection according to at least one of the first communication connection and the second communication connection. In this way, when a calling electronic device sends a first connection request to a called electronic device, a communication connection is established if the called electronic device also sends a connection request to the calling electronic device within a preset time. Whereby, the problem that when a calling electronic device and a called electronic device send a connection request to each other at the same time, a channel for communication between the two parties is occupied and a connection cannot be established is avoided, thereby improving user experience. |
