Provided is a line-type ink jet printer capable of performing color printing with a simple structure. This line-type ink jet printer is provided with: a conveying section that conveys at least one of a printing medium and a line head in a conveying direction at the time of printing; and the line head in which a plurality of nozzles each ejecting ink of any one of N (where N is an integer of two or more) different colors are arranged side by side in a direction crossing the conveying direction and are arranged such that ink of mutually different colors is ejected from nozzles that are adjacent to each other in the direction crossing the conveying direction. |
