PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical sheet material cutting device that solves the problem relating to micromotion of a nut caused by a clearance of a feed screw and satisfies requirements for reduction in costs and compactification.SOLUTION: A sheet material cutting device comprises: a driving round blade that is rotated by rotation of a driving shaft and can be freely moved in a driving shaft direction by a driving round-blade moving part; and a driven round blade that is rotated in opposition to the driving round blade and suppressed from fluctuating around the driving shaft by a driven round-blade fluctuation suppressing part. The driving round-blade moving part has: a screw shaft supported rotatably on a main body frame; a nut that is moved in a screw shaft direction by rotation of the screw shaft; a precompression part that pre-compresses the nut to one side in the screw shaft direction; and a slide base, mounted with the nut, which engages with the driving round blade and supports the driven shaft rotatably. The driven round-blade fluctuation suppressing part has: an extension part that is mounted on the main body frame and extends in the screw shaft direction; and a grasping part that is mounted on the slide base and can move a part of the extension part in the screw shaft direction by grasping the part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
