PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray inspection apparatus to which an article accommodated in any of plural different containers is supplied as an object to be inspected and that suppresses equipment costs and can inspect the article with proper inspection conditions according to its container.SOLUTION: An X-ray inspection apparatus 10 inspects an article conveyed while being accommodated in any of plural different containers. The X-ray inspection apparatus includes: a conveyor for conveying the container accommodating the article; an X-ray radiator 13 for radiating X-rays to a set composed of the container and the article conveyed by the conveyor; an X-ray line sensor 14 for detecting X-rays having passed through the set; an image generation unit 33 for generating an X-ray image using an X-ray detection result from the X-ray line sensor; a grasping unit 34; and an inspection unit 35. The grasping unit grasps a feature of a part of the X-ray image corresponding to the whole set. The inspection unit inspects the article using the X-ray image in an inspection target area with inspection conditions according to the feature. |
