PURPOSE: A return device of a clutch piston reserves a constant transmission performance regardless of the aging of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A return device of a clutch piston comprises a housing(28) which is between a clutch piston(16) and a clutch retainer(14), a variable elastic member for varying a return distance of the clutch piston(16). The return device transfers a constant elastic force to every part of the piston on the original mounting on the clutch and actuates the clutch piston(16) according to a variable volume on the running state of a vehicle. Therefore, a return device of a clutch piston reserves a constant transmission performance regardless of the aging of a vehicle.
