PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core material for heat treatment, which can remove a binder in quartz glass cloth without lowering tensile strength and a fluff grade of the quartz glass cloth.SOLUTION: The core material is used when quartz glass cloth is wound in heat cleaning treatment of the quartz glass cloth, which is performed for removing a binder component applied when a quartz glass yarn is spun and a binder component applied when the quartz glass cloth is woven. A coefficient of linear expansion of the core material at 40°C to 400°C is set at 0 or more and less than 10×10/°C. |
