PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively determine a quality of fuel oil and soundness of lubricant with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An oil quality and soundness determination device 100 comprises: a heat value measurement section 110 measuring an oxidation heat value which is a heat value generated by an oxidation reaction of oil and an ashing heat value which is the heat value generated by an ashing reaction of residual carbon produced as a result of oxidation of the oil by the oxidation reaction; and a determination section 120 determining quality or soundness of the oil on the basis of the oxidation heat value and the ashing heat value. The heat value measurement section 110 has: a heating section which simultaneously heats the oil as a measurement object and a reference substance, a substance to be a reference of measurement, at a preliminarily determined rate of temperature increase; and a differential heat measurement section which measures a temporal change of a difference in temperatures between the oil and the reference substance while the heating section is heating the same. |
