摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that when a rivet of an internal terminal is caulked and bonded in solid phase to an external terminal, fusion bonding is performed additionally by laser welding after caulking, in order to guarantee conduction by getting a desired bonding strength, because an oxide film exists on the bonding surface on the external terminal side.SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing a secondary battery 1 including a step for bonding an internal terminal 6 to an external terminal 4 by caulking the tip (projection 6a) of the internal terminal 6, taken out from the inside of a case 2, while penetrating the external terminal 4, protrusions 11 are provided around a portion (through hole 4a) in the external terminal 4 where the internal terminal 6 penetrates, before the projection 6a of the internal terminal 6 is caulked, and when caulking the projection 6a of the internal terminal 6, the projection 6a being caulked and deformed is brought into contact with the protrusions 11 from the side, and the protrusions 11 is deformed plastically toward the side.
