PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation type attenuation device which can effectively suppress vibrations of a heavy structural body without enlarging size of the device, is compact and has large attenuation force.SOLUTION: A rotation type attenuation device includes: a first fixation part 1a fixed to a vibration control object; a second fixation part 1b fixed to a structural body; a ball nut fixation part 4 straight-linearly movably arranged in the first fixation part 1a; a first cylinder fixation part 3a and a second cylinder fixation part 3b fixed to the second fixation part 1b; a first cylinder rotation part 5a which is freely rotatably arranged in the first cylinder fixation part 3a and has second and third ball nuts 12b, 13a respectively attached to both ends thereof; a second cylinder rotation part 5b which has a fourth ball nut 13b attached to an inner part thereof; a first ball screw shaft 7 screwed with the first and second ball nuts 12a, 12b; and a second ball screw shaft 10 screwed with the third and fourth ball nuts 13a, 13b. Therein, the first ball screw shaft 7 and the second ball screw shaft 10 have respective upper part and lower part which are threaded in directions reverse to each other. |
