The invention relates to an energy panel system and a method for producing energy by the energy panel system. The system comprises an energy panel (3) in which a photovoltaic panel comprises at least one translucent plate (31 ) having a plurality of photovoltaic elements (12), and a panel having cooling means (33) is arranged to cool down said plurality of photovoltaic elements (12). The energy panel (3) further comprises jointing means (35) configured to form a frame structure around the energy panel (3), wherein the jointing means (35) is provided with a first holding groove (31 1) configured to fasten the translucent plate (31) and the cooling means (33) against each other so that said plurality of photovoltaic elements (12) are effectively cooled down. |
