The engineering system (102) receives multiple proposed process engineering variants (403) based on the received AFI (402) from one or more databases (107, 110) and receives a selection of a proposed process engineering variant (403) from the user device (101). The engineering system (102) receives an engineered process model (406) already completed or in progress, comprising the AFI (402) in connection with other AFIs (402), from the user device (101). The engineering system (102) generates and displays a comparative analysis between the engineered process model (406) and the proposed process engineering variant (403) indicating one or more differences between the engineered process model (406) and the proposed process engineering variant (403). |
