The X-rays emitted by the X-ray emitters (2.1 to 2.n) can be detected by the detector (7) after at least partly passing through an examination region (5) located in the intermediate region between the X-ray emitters (2.1 to 2.n) and the detector (7). According to the invention, the X-ray emitters (2.1 to 2.n) are grouped into at least two mutually spaced sub-arrangements (3.1, 3.2). Each sub-arrangement (3.1, 3.2) comprises multiple X-ray emitters (2.1 to 2.n).
